Our Review: Short sweet stories. Read a dozen pages at a time to contemplate the messages and situations. Our favorite book about Purgatory due to its depth and breadth to guide our souls!
Our Review: Ms. Tassone presents scriptures and meditations using the Rosary to bring us closer to understanding the role of Purgatory in our road home to God, if needed. Ms Tassone made suggestions when we started our Poor Souls Prayer Card ministry, which we implemented. Yes, we love praying the Rosary using Ms. Tassone's book.
Amazon Review: Building on the teachings of Christ and St. Paul, John Salza shows how the existence of a place of temporal punishment after death is not only a logical extension of what we know about the reality of sin and God's justice, but is also a supreme expression of God's love and mercy. Our Review:The levels of Purgatory are wrong in this book, according to a Healing Priest we have consulted. Many stories in the book are intriguing though. Worth the read. No Imprimatur.
Amazon Review: This small book contains an interview with Maria Simma, an elderly Austrian woman, who testifies to being regularly visited by souls in Purgatory who answer secrets about that realm and who plead for the prayers of the living. Consulting our healing priest, there are descriptions of Purgatory that are wrong. Our Review: Keep in mind the experiences of people in Purgatory can be different, on a case by case basis. Maria, who has since passed, states you aren't supposed to ask to be contacted by the Poor Souls. However, if God so wills it, you must do as the Poor Soul requests. No imprimatur.
Our Review: If you are looking for a spiritually beautiful book to learn prayers and devotions to pray with the Saints on behalf of the Poor Souls, this is your book. We love reading this book when needing to know there others more worthy than us praying for the Poor Souls.
Amazon Review: St Catherine of Genoa's vision of Purgatory can help you face the sorrows of your life with greater faith and courage.
Amazon Review: By an Ursuline Nun of Sligo. This book was written to impress upon its readers many truths about Purgatory. Few stories, more about why we should pray for them.
Amazon Review: Tells what the fire is like, how it torments, etc. Extremely sobering. Gives the conditions of the Suffering Souls as to pain, sense, consolations, position, and unknown punishments in Purgatory. Analyzes the credibility of departed souls that have returned to warn those on earth.
Amazon Review: Jerry L. Walls, the author of books on hell and heaven, completes his tour of the afterlife with a philosophical and theological exploration and defense of purgatory, the traditional teaching that most Christians require a period of postmortem cleansing and purging of their sinful dispositions and imperfections before they will be fully made ready for heaven.
Amazon Review: Thirty-Day Devotions for the Holy Souls offers comfort to those who are grieving and gives them a personal and powerful method of praying for their departed family member or friend.
